Relaxation

Complementary therapies
Work alongside conventional medical treatments. They promote feelings of relaxation, wellbeing and can also help with emotional and physical symptoms. All our therapies are gentle, safe and are adapted for use in pallative care.
Often when someone is going through a palliative illness they can feel alone and isolated even when they are surrounded by loved ones. We find that our once a week get togethers help people to realise they are not the only ones going through the same emotions
The Wellness Day is an informal get together in a non-threatening, relaxing environment. Friendships are built, laughter is frequent and everyone can’t wait until the next time.
Relaxation
Is used to help relax your body and mind. Our therapeutic services are available for all patients with life limiting illnesses – cancer, cardiac, remal, respiratory and other diseases.
Referral to the Therapeutic Centre
Referral to the Therapeutic Centre is through your GP, Palliative Care Nurse Specialist, or self-referral through the Hospice.
Enquiries are welcome, call us for more information or to arrange a visit.
